Superstars School Programmes

Superstars Sports Club are able to offer the delivery of PE lessons within the National Curriculum framework within primary schools in school time to facilitate PPA.

All the coaching staff of Superstars Sports Club are all fully trained sports coaches who have worked with young children delivering the aspects of the National Curriculum at both Key Stages 1 and 2 over a period of time. All the coaching staff have a current enhanced CRB check, and attended child protection workshops, along with possessing first aid qualifications. We endeavour to match the most suitable coach to the needs of the children, staff and the school. All equipment is provided and age specific. Our lessons are based around a 60 minute session which will cover games or athletics, and health related matters.

Superstars Sports Club can either base the sessions on direction by the school staff or develop a plan that is both specific to the schools needs, children's needs, and meets the requirements of the National Curriculum framework at Key Stages 1 and 2. The developing maturities and abilities of each individual child are appreciated and they are taught in ways which encourage further enquiry, problem solving and creative thinking.

Superstars Sports Club will provide lesson plans with three main aims and objectives for each session. We aim to ensure that all the children will learn enough during a games session to be able to do at least one of the following;
to understand a skill (tactic or technique)
·         to perform a skill (to carry out a skill)
·         to have knowledge and understanding of the skill or game (a position or rule)

We are flexible in the amount of time we deliver each session; we can be booked for weekly, monthly, or on a term time basis.
